ever since i been free Ive been able to do what i want. i got to kiss my wife and play ball with my kid. back then we would get beat for even looking at your wife. i got a job as an farm boy and finally making my own money. feels real nice when you making your on money to feed your own family. i never would have thought that life was like this. but still you have some white people giving me that crazy look. i really thank Lincoln for the freedom. my life anit no piece cake when you when you have a large family to look after. In glad we free, life is great.
